This is a unique restaurant with Pirate theme and the experience was wonderful. There were pirates everywhere from the famous pirates to the shape of the restaurant being like pirate ship. The pirate hats, cannons, pirate dressed waiters, live music and a bar with option of customized drinks are all so enjoyable for both adults and kids. The service was quick and the people were very accommodating. The buffet spread was large and you have option of live grill to some exquisite meat like emu, rabbit and octopus. The joint is popular and on weekends it is crowded like anything. We booked our table earlier and even then had to wait for almost half an hour. But once we entered, it was a fantastic experience. Let me list out the pros and cons here and you can feel the ambience from the photos below.
Pros:- Large buffet spread, kids friendly starters, live grill, wonderful bar, good service, The whole pirate theme which attracts the kids. The starters were good and you may not try the main course too much. Jamaican potatoes, kulfi kabab and prawns were outstanding starters whereas kashmiri kofta curry in main dish demands a mention. The dessert spread is also very good and have all the Indian options along with some international ones. There is something for everybody in the family - kids love the ambience and my husband loves the drinks.
Cons:- The place is quite cramped and is not enough for all the people that come. If you want a quite spacious place to hang out then this may not attract you. The kababs are definitely good but compared with Sigree Grill and Barbecue nation the subtle taste is missing. The food is generally a bit on the spicy side though they have less spicy starters also for kids. The crab side dish was too smelly but otherwise all the food are of good quality.
Overall a 4.0 for me.
